Quarterly grade entry with DepEd rules built in

Teachers enter one score per student, subject and quarter, for their own classes only. SIMS checks every score, computes MAPEH, and keeps the data ready for report cards.

Grades

What it does

Guided entry

Pick the grade, section, course and quarter, and only the teacher's own classes appear.

Validated scores

Regular subjects accept 75 to 100, with decimals allowed.

MAPEH

Music, Arts, PE and Health are scored 0–100 each. The MAPEH grade is their average and is never typed in.

Student view

Students see their grades by subject and quarter in their portal.

Rules SIMS takes care of

These are built in, so staff don't have to remember them.

  • Grades are linked to the student, course, term and quarter, not to subject names that can change.
  • MAPEH components are set up as child courses of MAPEH.
