Online applications, review and one-click enrollment

Families register and apply online, with the required documents attached. Admins review every application in one queue, approve or reject it, and enroll the student when the family accepts the offer.

Admissions

What it does

Self-registration

Families create their own account and start an application. No paper forms to collect.

Required documents

An application can't be submitted until the required documents are uploaded.

Stage tabs

Admins see applications grouped by stage, with counts for each.

Comments and attachments

Admins can discuss an application and attach files at any stage.

Automatic emails

Approval sends an offer the family can accept or decline. A rejection sends the reason.

Timeline

Every step, comment and file is logged with who did it and when.

How it works

Admissions, step by step

  1. 1

    Register

The family creates an account and starts an application.

  2. 2

    Apply

They fill in the form and upload documents. The draft can be edited until it's submitted.

  3. 3

    Review

Admins review it, comment, and approve or reject it with a reason.

  4. 4

    Offer

An approval emails the family an offer to accept or decline.

  5. 5

    Enroll

On acceptance the applicant becomes a student, with the same profile and documents.

Rules SIMS takes care of

These are built in, so staff don't have to remember them.

  • Stages: Pending, Submitted, Approved, Rejected, Enrolled and Declined.
  • A rejected application can be reopened so the family can fix it and resubmit.
  • A declined offer is kept on record, not deleted.
  • Applications that sit in a stage too long are flagged for follow-up. Nothing moves on automatically.
  • If no email server is set up yet, emails are skipped and logged, and the workflow carries on.
Who uses it

  • Applicants and families
