Daily roll call in seconds, with reports and Excel export
Teachers take roll for each class in a few clicks. Admins get a school-wide daily report they can search and export, and students see their own attendance record.
Attendance
What it does
Present by default
Every student starts as present, so teachers only mark the absences.
Today only
New roll calls are for today. Past days can be corrected and future days are blocked.
Daily report
Admins pick a date and see one row per student, with search by name.
Excel export
Download the day's report with student ID, name, status, grade, section and date.
Student view
Students filter by course and date and see their attendance percentage.
Local dates
Dates are stored in school-local time, so a roll call is never recorded on the wrong day.
How it works
Attendance, step by step
- 1
Open the class
The teacher picks one of today's classes.
- 2
Mark absences
Everyone is present by default. Tap the students who are absent.
- 3
Save
The admin report and the students' records update immediately.
Rules SIMS takes care of
These are built in, so staff don't have to remember them.
- One roll call per course, section and date.
- Teachers only see their own schedules. Admins see all of them.
- Attendance percentage = present ÷ total, rounded.
- Teachers
- Administrators
- Students
