Custom Software Development Services in India
Business software designed around your processes, built on one secure and scalable stack, and maintainable by any engineer in our 100+ developer pool.
Overview
Why Custom Software Development matters
Off-the-shelf tools rarely match the way your business actually runs, and spreadsheets stitched together with manual steps break as soon as volume grows. Our custom software development services replace that patchwork with a system shaped around your workflows, roles and data. Every project is built on the same proven stack — Next.js, NestJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL and Prisma — and follows written engineering standards for security, testing and release. The outcome is software you own, that scales with demand, and that any trained developer in our pool can extend years from now without starting over.
What we build
Custom Software Development: capabilities
Every feature is built on our standardized stack, so it is secure, tested and maintainable by any engineer in our pool.
Workflow and operations systems
Internal tools that digitize approvals, task routing, inventory movements and handovers that currently live in email threads or spreadsheets.
Role-based dashboards
Screens tailored to managers, field staff and finance teams, each showing only the records and actions that role is permitted to see.
Integrations with existing tools
Connections to accounting packages, payment gateways, CRMs, messaging platforms and legacy databases through documented, versioned APIs.
Reporting and analytics
Paginated reports, exports and summary views built on PostgreSQL queries designed with proper indexes, so numbers load quickly as data grows.
Multi-tenant and multi-branch platforms
Software that serves several companies, branches or clients from one codebase, with tenant checks on every record access.
Data migration from legacy systems
Careful extraction, cleaning and import of historical data from old applications, with validation scripts and reconciliation reports.
Secure authentication and permissions
Cookie-based sessions, argon2 password hashing, rate-limited login and RBAC guards that deny access by default.
Background jobs and automation
Scheduled reports, bulk imports, notifications and reminders processed by queued jobs instead of slowing down the user interface.
Key benefits
Outcomes your business can count on
Software that fits your process
You stop bending your operations around generic tools. Screens, fields and approvals reflect how your teams really work.
No single-developer dependency
Because every engineer in our pool is trained on the same stack and standards, your project never depends on one person staying.
Scales without a rewrite
Stateless services, a modular monolith and PostgreSQL let the system run on multiple instances when users and data increase.
Security built in from day one
Server-side validation, record-level authorization and secrets management are mandatory parts of every build, not optional extras.
Full ownership and transparency
Code lives in a repository with documented architecture, automated tests and a generated API reference your team can read.
Use cases
Where this delivers value
Replacing spreadsheet operations
A distributor moving order tracking, stock levels and dispatch planning out of shared spreadsheets into one controlled system.
Industry-specific platforms
A service business building its own booking, job-card and invoicing platform when no packaged product covers its niche.
Modernizing ageing applications
Rebuilding a desktop or legacy PHP application as a secure web platform while keeping historical records intact.
Technology used
Built on one proven stack
Custom builds use our standardized web and backend stack: Next.js App Router with TypeScript on the front end, NestJS for business logic, PostgreSQL with Prisma for data, and a versioned REST API documented with OpenAPI.
- Next.js (App Router)
- TypeScript (strict)
- NestJS
- PostgreSQL
- Prisma
- Tailwind CSS + shadcn/ui
- Redis + BullMQ
- Vitest, Supertest, Playwright
Our process
From first call to confident launch
- 01
Discovery
We map your current process, the people involved, the data each step touches and the rules that must never be broken, then agree on a prioritized scope.
- 02
Design
We define the data model, module boundaries, roles and permissions, and produce screen flows so stakeholders can review the system before code is written.
- 03
Agile Build
Features ship in short iterations to a staging environment with automated tests, so you see working software regularly and can adjust priorities.
- 04
Production + 90-day hypercare
We migrate data, launch, monitor logs and errors closely, and fix issues quickly during a 90-day hypercare period after go-live.
Why custom software development services pay off over time
The cost of software is not the first release — it is the years of changes that follow. Many businesses commission an application from a freelancer or small agency, only to find that the original developer has moved on and nobody else understands the code. Every change after that becomes slow and risky. We designed our delivery model to remove that problem. All 100+ developers in our pool work in the same languages, frameworks and folder structure, and follow the same written rules for validation, permissions, database changes and testing.
That consistency means a new engineer can open your repository and recognize the patterns immediately. Features are added in the same way they were first built, reviews follow the same checklist, and the automated test suite catches regressions before they reach users. For a founder or operations head, the result is predictable cost per change and far less risk when the team composition changes. Read more about the reasoning behind this on our why our tech stack page.
Architecture that stays maintainable
We build custom applications as a modular monolith: one NestJS backend divided into clear feature modules such as orders, billing or inventory. This keeps deployment simple while still giving each area of the business a well-defined boundary. Controllers handle requests, services hold business rules, and only the data layer talks to PostgreSQL through Prisma. Next.js renders the interface and never queries the database directly, so business logic exists in exactly one place.
Request and response shapes are defined once as Zod schemas and shared between front end and backend. The API client used by the web app is generated from the OpenAPI specification, so a field renamed on the server is caught at compile time rather than discovered by a user. Schema changes go through migrations only, every table carries audit timestamps, and business records use soft delete so that nothing important disappears by accident.
- Stateless services that run on multiple instances
- Paginated list endpoints with a maximum page size
- Structured JSON logs with a request ID on every line
- Health and readiness endpoints for monitoring
From a first module to a complete platform
You do not need to specify every screen before work begins. Most clients start with the module that causes the most pain — often order handling, approvals or reporting — and expand once it is live and delivering value. Because the foundations are the same for every project, adding a mobile companion app, a customer portal or an AI assistant later reuses the existing API instead of creating a parallel system.
