Cloud Hosting and DevOps Services with Raidlayer
Deployment pipelines, hosting, monitoring, backups and scaling for the applications we build — delivered together with our group company Raidlayer.
Overview
Why Cloud Hosting & DevOps matters
Great software still fails if it is deployed by hand, monitored by nobody and backed up only in theory. Our cloud hosting and DevOps services close that gap. Working with Raidlayer, our group company for web hosting, servers and infrastructure, we set up automated CI/CD pipelines, reliable hosting environments, health checks, structured logging, error reporting, tested backups and horizontal scaling. Because our applications are stateless by design, they run comfortably on multiple instances. The outcome is a production setup where releases are routine, problems are visible early and growth in traffic does not become an emergency.
What we build
Cloud Hosting & DevOps: capabilities
Every feature is built on our standardized stack, so it is secure, tested and maintainable by any engineer in our pool.
CI/CD pipelines
Automated pipelines that run lint, type checks, tests and builds on every change, then deploy to staging and production in a repeatable way.
Managed hosting environments
Separate development, staging and production environments on Raidlayer infrastructure, configured consistently from code.
Monitoring and alerting
Liveness and readiness checks, structured logs and error reporting so the team knows quickly when something needs attention.
Backups and recovery
Scheduled PostgreSQL backups with retention policies and periodic restore tests to prove the data can actually be recovered.
Horizontal scaling
Stateless application instances behind a load balancer, with Redis for shared cache and jobs, so capacity grows with demand.
Secrets and configuration
Environment-based secrets validated at startup, never committed to repositories, and rotated when people or vendors change.
Security hardening
HTTPS everywhere, firewall rules, least-privilege access, Helmet headers and rate limits on public endpoints.
Zero-drama releases
Database migrations run as part of deployment, health checks gate traffic and previous versions can be restored quickly.
Key benefits
Outcomes your business can count on
One partner from code to production
The team that builds your software and the infrastructure provider work within the same group, reducing handoffs.
Fewer failed releases
Automated checks and repeatable deployments replace manual steps that are easy to get wrong.
Problems found earlier
Health endpoints, logs and error reports surface issues before they turn into outages or support tickets.
Confidence in your data
Backups are scheduled, retained and tested, so recovery is a known procedure rather than a hope.
Room to grow
Stateless services and horizontal scaling let you add capacity for peaks without redesigning the application.
Technology used
Built on one proven stack
Deployments target the stateless NestJS and Next.js applications from our standard stack, with PostgreSQL, Redis and S3-compatible storage where needed, plus pino logs, Sentry and health and readiness endpoints for observability.
- CI pipelines: lint, typecheck, test, build
- Raidlayer hosting and servers
- PostgreSQL backups
- Redis + BullMQ
- S3-compatible storage
- pino + Sentry
- /health and /ready checks
Our process
From first call to confident launch
- 01
Discovery
We review your current hosting, deployment steps, traffic patterns, data volumes, compliance needs and recovery expectations.
- 02
Design
We design environments, pipeline stages, backup schedules, monitoring and a scaling approach, and agree on access and responsibilities.
- 03
Agile Build
Pipelines, infrastructure configuration and monitoring are set up incrementally, starting with staging so every step is proven before production.
- 04
Production + 90-day hypercare
We migrate or launch production, watch metrics and alerts closely, run a restore test and tune capacity during 90 days of hypercare.
Cloud hosting and DevOps services built around our stack
DevOps is far simpler when the applications being deployed follow consistent rules. Every service we build is stateless: sessions and shared data live in PostgreSQL or Redis rather than in the memory of one server. Each exposes a `/health` endpoint for liveness and a `/ready` endpoint that checks its database and cache connections. Logs are structured JSON with a request ID on every line. These conventions, defined in our web and backend stack, mean that our pipelines, monitoring and scaling setup can be reused confidently from one project to the next.
That reuse is where much of the reliability comes from. Instead of inventing a new deployment approach for each client, we apply a proven pattern and adapt it to your traffic, data and compliance needs.
Working with Raidlayer for infrastructure
Raidlayer is our group company for web hosting, servers and infrastructure. Together, we cover the full path from code to a running system: HANA Platform engineers build the application and the delivery pipeline, while Raidlayer provides the hosting environment the application runs on. Having both inside one group reduces the coordination overhead that often slows teams down when a developer and a hosting provider point at each other during an incident.
If you already have a preferred cloud provider or an internal infrastructure team, we can deploy to that environment instead and apply the same pipeline, monitoring and backup practices.
Backups, recovery and scaling plans
A backup that has never been restored is not a recovery plan. We schedule database backups, keep them for an agreed retention period and periodically restore them into a separate environment to verify they work. User-uploaded files are kept in S3-compatible storage with pre-signed URLs rather than on application servers, which also keeps user content off your main domain.
Scaling follows the same discipline. Because services are stateless, adding capacity usually means running more instances behind the load balancer. Heavy tasks such as report generation, imports or emails run as background jobs, so peaks in that work do not slow the interface. For AI workloads such as local LLM deployment, we plan dedicated capacity separately. Ongoing upkeep can be combined with maintenance and support.
- Restore tests on a regular schedule
- Uploads stored outside the application servers
- Background jobs for long-running work
