SaaS Product Development for Founders and Growing Product Teams

We build multi-tenant SaaS products on a stack designed to scale from the first paying customer, and we stay with you as the roadmap and the team grow.

Overview

How we help saas teams

HANA Platform delivers SaaS product development for startup founders, established software companies launching new products, and businesses turning an internal tool into a subscription offering. SaaS has unforgiving economics: you need to launch fast enough to learn from real customers, yet the architecture has to survive thousands of tenants, frequent releases and security questionnaires from enterprise buyers.

Our standardized stack — Next.js, NestJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL and Redis, with stateless services and OpenAPI-generated clients — was chosen precisely for that balance. It lets us move quickly in the first months without leaving you with a prototype that must be thrown away later.

Industry challenges

What holds saas businesses back

  1. 01

Pressure to launch before the money runs out

Founders need a working product in front of customers quickly, but rushed MVPs often need a costly rewrite just as growth begins.

  2. 02

Tenant isolation is easy to get wrong

One missing filter in a query can expose another customer's data, which is a serious breach of trust for any subscription business.

  3. 03

Enterprise buyers ask hard security questions

Larger customers send long questionnaires about authentication, encryption, logging and access control before they will sign.

  4. 04

    Scaling breaks early shortcuts

In-memory sessions, single-server deployments and unindexed queries work for ten customers and fail under a few hundred.

  5. 05

Hiring and retaining developers is hard

Small product teams depend on one or two engineers, and the product stalls whenever someone leaves.

SaaS product development built to scale from day one

Scalability is mostly a set of early decisions: keeping services stateless so they can run as many instances, storing sessions in Redis or PostgreSQL rather than memory, indexing the columns you filter by, paginating every list and pushing slow work like emails and exports into background jobs. We make those decisions in the first sprint so they never become a migration project later.

Security follows the same logic. Deny-by-default authorization, record-level tenant checks, argon2 password hashing and rate-limited login endpoints are part of our written engineering standards, which makes answering enterprise security questionnaires far less painful.

  • Tenant isolation verified by automated tests
  • Versioned REST API with a generated, typed client
  • Background jobs for exports, emails and imports
  • Structured logs and error tracking from the first release

No dependence on a single developer

Because every developer in our pool works on the same stack and follows the same standards, your product is never locked to one person's knowledge. If an engineer moves on, another can pick up the codebase quickly, which protects your roadmap through the unpredictable early years of a SaaS business.
