FinTech Software Development for Payments, Lending and Digital Finance Products

We build payment and wallet apps, digital lending platforms and investment products with ledgers that always balance, integrations that survive retries and onboarding that customers finish.

Overview

How we help fintech teams

HANA Platform delivers fintech software development for startups and established companies launching financial products: payment and wallet apps, digital lending, savings and investment apps, and embedded finance offered to other businesses through an API. Unlike back-office finance software, these products face customers directly, so they must be fast and simple on the surface and exact underneath.

We build fintech products on the same standard stack we use for every client — Next.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Python and React Native or Flutter — with the rules that matter most in finance written into our engineering standards: exact money types, transactions for every multi-step write, idempotent payment requests and an audit trail for every change to a balance.

Industry challenges

What holds fintech businesses back

  1. 01

    Every cent must reconcile

A balance that drifts by even a small amount destroys trust. Retries, timeouts and partial failures make double charges and missing credits easy to create and hard to find.

  2. 02

    Onboarding loses customers

Identity checks, document uploads and long forms cause drop-off, yet skipping them is not an option when your partners and regulator require them.

  3. 03

    Payment integrations are fragile

Gateways, banks and wallets each have their own APIs, webhooks, settlement files and failure modes, and a single unhandled callback can leave a transaction stuck.

  4. 04

    Fraud arrives with growth

Account takeover, synthetic identities and promotion abuse grow with your user base, and rules that worked at launch stop catching new patterns.

  5. 05

    Regulation keeps changing

Limits, reporting duties and consent rules differ by market and change over time, so product logic that is hard-coded becomes a release bottleneck.

  6. 06

    Traffic arrives in peaks

Salary days, sales events and campaign launches can multiply load within minutes, exactly when a slow or failed transaction is most visible.

How we build fintech products

Every product is built on our standard stack, so it is easy to maintain and to hand over: Next.js for customer web apps and dashboards, NestJS for all business logic and APIs, PostgreSQL with Prisma for data, Redis with BullMQ for background work such as webhooks, retries and reconciliation jobs, and React Native or Flutter for mobile apps. Read more on our web and backend stack.

Where a product needs data science, we add Python services alongside the main backend: fraud and credit-risk scoring models, document and identity checks with AI, and analytics over transaction history. These services only score and analyze — they return a result to the NestJS backend, which stays the single place where money moves and every decision is recorded.

Money logic lives only in the backend. Amounts are stored as whole minor units or exact decimals, multi-step changes run inside a single database transaction, and payment and transfer requests accept an idempotency key so that a repeated request returns the original result instead of moving money twice. Slow work — notifications, statements, reports, provider callbacks — runs as queued jobs, so the app stays responsive at peak load.

  • Double-entry ledger records for every movement of money
  • Idempotency keys on payments, transfers and payouts
  • Signed, verified webhooks with automatic retries
  • Feature flags and configurable limits per market
  • Automated tests for every money-moving path
  • Python services for risk scoring, document AI and analytics

Security and compliance for fintech software

Our engineering standards make the same protections mandatory on every project: validation of every request on the server, deny-by-default access with checks on each specific record, argon2 password hashing, secure session cookies, rate limits on sign-in and public endpoints, and secrets kept out of code. For fintech we add tokenized card handling through your payment provider, maker-checker approvals for sensitive operations and a permanent audit trail.

Licences, certifications and regulatory approvals stay with your organization and its partners, and we do not claim them for you. What we deliver is software that makes those obligations easier to meet and to evidence, with clear documentation for your compliance team, partners and auditors.

Fintech products we have built

We build and run financial products of our own on this stack. CreditLine prepares complete, checked SME and MSME loan files for banks and lenders, including a guided interview that collects the applicant's account of the business. Accounting Firm OS gives accounting practices client management, deadline tracking and invoicing with payment links that clients can pay through local e-wallets. The same engineering practices go into every client project.
