Is Simbahan really free?+

Yes. No subscription, no setup fee, no fee per member. No transaction fees on GCash donations. Simbahan is free for every parish in Phase 1.

Is our parish data secure?+

Yes. Each parish has a completely isolated data environment. Your member list, donation records, and announcements are visible only to your admins and approved members.

Do we need a payment gateway?+

No. Donations use your parish GCash QR code directly. Members scan, pay, and log the donation in the app. No third-party processor involved.

What if many of our parishioners don't have smartphones?+

Your secretary can manually add member records. The app works on low-cost Android phones (PHP 3,000+). For very low-tech members, the web dashboard can be used by a staff member on their behalf.

How much time does it take to maintain?+

Approximately 30–60 minutes per week for a parish secretary. Posting the Sunday announcement, updating the Mass schedule when it changes, and responding to sacrament requests. Everything else is automatic.

Do we need Diocese approval?+

Simbahan is a tool for your parish, not a change to Church governance. We recommend informing your Vicariate. We can provide a Diocese briefing document upon request.
